Meet Jen

Jen Elliott Intuitive Eating Counselor Personal Trainer Indianapolis.JPG

hey sis!

I’m so happy you are here! I’m Jen, a mixed-race, coffee-loving, introverted, Highly Sensitive (HSP) Therapist, Social Worker, and Intuitive Eating Coach, obsessed with 80’s music, Schitts Creek, and plants.

My superpower is supporting women on their journey into a life of intuitive eating, joyful movement, and body respect.

As a Therapist and Intuitive Eating Coach, my priority is to hold a safer space for you to be truly seen and heard, free of judgment, rules, and restrictions, and to offer lots of grace and support throughout your journey.

I take a collaborative, human-first, HAES-informed approach to coaching, allowing your unique needs to be understood and giving you the tools you need to fit intuitive eating and body respect into your life in a way that makes sense.

There are few things I love more than being able to walk alongside women on their journey to food freedom, body respect, and self-love.

Most days you can find me working with therapy and coaching clients, listening to an audiobook or podcast while doing a paint-by-number kit, hanging with my cat Baby and husband Kris, sipping coffee, practicing yoga, and listening to the same songs for the millionth time.

If you are wondering how I got here, get ready for the short version:

After years of dealing with unbearable gut health issues (think every test imaginable, debilitating pain, and medication every 4 hours that did nothing), I finally visited a holistic practitioner who suggested I change up the foods I was eating.

Six months later, I finished my first elimination diet and my gut was on the up and up. Fast forward a year and a half that included 3 candida (yeast overgrowth) detoxes, 2 bouts of adrenal fatigue, and a constant obsession with exercise and food, I realized there HAD to be another way.

I was sick of spending time obsessing about food and overthinking my nutrition choices.

Eventually, I found intuitive eating and began working on my relationship with food, exercise, and my body. Most importantly, I worked on changing the conversation going on between my ears. I learned how to manage and talk back to Karen—the shit-talking mean girl in my head.

I found a version of food freedom that allowed me to experience freedom in other areas of life.

And I want all my clients to be able to experience the same thing.

If you are ready to live a life where you can...

  • Stress and obsess less about food and movement

  • Ditch dieting for sustainable eating habits

  • Stop saying “no” to spontaneous dinners and nights out with loved ones

  • Stop letting food consume your thoughts

  • Unlearn all the negative thoughts and beliefs you learned from society, the media, family, and friends

  • Feel safe in your body, and trust yourself around food

… then I’d love to help you!

I’m so happy you’re here and can’t wait to support you as you ditch diet culture for good and find YOUR version of food freedom.

I cannot wait to connect with you!
xo, Jen

Client Love.

Before working with Jen, I knew I had some imbalances to work on with my body. She had me send some videos to her and fill out some questions before we started working together. After reviewing all of the content, I felt she really took the time and effort to tailor a plan just for me. Not only is she a great coach/trainer, but she has an awesome personality and really knows how the body works! I would recommend her to anyone no matter the size, shape, or imbalance you have. She can figure it out and help!

Working with Jen, I never felt intimidated or overwhelmed because she was very straight forward and encouraging, never made me feel judged or like I couldn’t accomplish things. Instead, she worked hard to help me push past my self-doubts. I have tried many new things outside of fitness simply because she’s taught me to believe in myself through strength in fitness. She takes her training and role as a mentor very seriously. If you’re looking for a coach who will help you reach your goals, I suggest you give Jen a try! You won’t be disappointed!
